Good Intentions

Filed under: Weight Loss and Exercise — adventuresofsupermommy @ 12:58 pm

So, I’ve decided that I’m getting fat.  I weigh the same as I did the day before Aby was born.  This is not good.  I’m definitely not going to start a diet, I can’t really do that because I’m still breastfeeding.  However, I am going to start off slowly getting a little more exercise at a time, whenever I can.  I can’t afford to be stiff and sore, so I’m just going to do a tiny bit at a time, working my way up slowly.

So, I got down on the floor with Aby, put her on my belly resting her back on my legs and did a few crunches.  Then I laid her on the floor, bent over her and did a few leg lifts.  Kaylee was very interested in what I was doing, she wanted to brush my hair while I was lying on the floor and then brought me her “trumpet” to play while I was doing leg lifts.

Maybe I’ll crank up some Lady Gaga in a little bit and dance around with Kaylee, since she LOVES Lady Gaga.

So, my intentions are good, let’s see if I can keep it up for a little bit.  Wish me luck.

  1. You are anything but fat, dear! But getting more exercise is always a good thing. If you want I can let you borrow some of the fitness videos I use. It’s cheaper than a machine. 😛 (How about some Cardio Striptease?)

    • ooh… I doubt I can pull off the cardio striptease with the girls around… Or with hubby around, either for that matter. And since our television is always on either the Disney channel or Tom & Jerry… I’ll have to think about what kind of workout I’ll be able to fit in. I figure a few extra crunches here and there is a good start. Dancing is always fun, too.
